To create a Parent Canvas Account, first navigate to the Canvas Discovery Page.

On the Canvas Discovery Page, there is a sign-in box. Above the box is a link that says "Parent of a Canvas User? Click Here For an Account". Click that link.

From there you will enter your name and email and create a password. You will also need to enter a Student Pairing Code, which your student can provide, or you can email Jewel van den Ende at jvandenende@kwcps.k12.va.us. Students can access this by opening their Canvas, selecting their account, then "Settings", and "Pair with an Observer".
