Hamilton Holmes congratulates our very own, Ms. Jesse Fortune, on being recognized by Rappahannock Community College (RCC) with a prestigious IDEAL Award!
Presented annually by RCC, the IDEAL Awards honor outstanding faculty and staff who exemplify the college's core values: Integrity, Diversity and Inclusion, Excellence, Access, and Learning for Life.
Ms. Fortune, an alumna of RCC, joined their adjunct faculty in Spring 2023 and has been captivating students at Haynesville Correctional Center with her engaging history courses. Despite the unique classroom environment, her passion for the subject shines through, fostering lively discussions and igniting a love of history in her students. We at the Hamilton Holmes are thrilled to have such a dedicated educator within our ranks.
Ms. Fortune also brings her teaching talents to our middle school classrooms, and her ability to connect with students is truly inspiring. Her commitment to education extends even further, as she plans to offer Dual Enrollment History next year, creating a seamless pathway for our students to pursue higher learning at RCC.
Congratulations, Ms. Fortune! We are incredibly proud of your achievements and your dedication to inspiring students of all ages.
