Music isn't just a subject—it’s a universal language that builds community, boosts brainpower, and gives our students a voice.
From the first squeaky notes in elementary recorder class to the breathtaking performances of our high school ensembles, music is the heartbeat of our hallways. This month, we celebrate the dedicated educators who inspire our students and the young musicians who fill our schools with harmony!

March is Women’s History Month! Behind every great student is a village—and a huge part of ours is powered by incredible women! Let's celebrate the pioneers who paved the way for our students today.
From the laboratory to the library, women have consistently broken barriers and redefined what’s possible. Our goal is to ensure every girl in our hallways sees herself in the stories we teach and the leaders we celebrate.

Today is Maintenance Worker Appreciation Day, and we want to take a moment to recognize the incredible team that keeps KWCPS running safely and smoothly: Tony Stone, Tony Arizzi, Chris Wrenn, and Ryan Gault!
From fixing leaky pipes in the middle of winter to ensuring our classrooms are bright, warm, and ready for learning every single morning, these dedicated professionals do the heavy lifting that often goes unseen. They don't just maintain buildings; they build the foundation for our students' success.

School Social Workers are the unsung heroes of our hallways. From providing mental health support and crisis intervention to ensuring every student has the resources they need to thrive, their impact is immeasurable. They don’t just help students navigate school; they help them navigate life.
Thank you to Ms. Tierra Harvey-Candia and Ms. Michelle Bensen for your tireless dedication, your big hearts, and for always putting our students first. You make our schools stronger and our futures brighter.
